Everyone, including parents /care givers and students, is expected to follow The Golden Rule in my classes. We treat others the way we want and expect to be treated, and we will love our neighbors as ourselves. We will be respectful of ourselves, peers, teachers, parents, facility operators, and everyone we meet in the community as a dance group, representing Dance Infinity RVA. Failure to do so may result in your temporary or permanent dismissal from the class, without a refund.
I teach ballet, tap, jazz, modern, and hip hop. Specifics of which style/styles taught will be discussed before the start of each education program or private lesson based on individual needs. The Infinity Spirit, homeschool program, will focus on 2 styles. The two predominant styles are ballet and tap. Elements of jazz, hip hop, or modern may be layered in.
Yes!! Please reach out to danceinfinityrva@gmail.com.
Anything comfy that allows for a full range of movement. Think work out attire; such as leggings and a fitted top/leotard and tights. No jeans, dresses, fitted skirts, or dress shirts permitted as these will limit movement. Specifics of desired dance shoes are discussed before the start of each program to ensure all participants may dance safely while keeping “extra” costs low.
Tuition is paid in full by the start of each private lesson or program.
Infinity Spirit, homeschool dancers, can either pay in full by the first class, or half by the first class and half by the middle of the semester.
Payments can be made with cash, check, or venmo.
Yes, this is a drop-off class. You may remain on-site in the areas designated by the facility during class time. Children in your care who remain on site with you must be supervised at all times. If you remain on site, please be respectful of the facility and other workers by keeping noise levels low and children from running.
Please do not drop off your child more than 5 mintes early to class, as I will not be available to supervise them and it will help to keep distractions to a minimum for the classes that are going on. In order to make sure that your child can enjoy the full benefit of class, please make sure that s/he arrives on time. This also keeps the distractions to the other students to a minimum.
Children under the age of 9 must be escorted to and from the classroom by a parent or designated guardian. The classroom is on the 2nd floor of the Glen Allen Cultural Arts Center, and we require that parents and guardians maintain the safety of their children as they venture to and from the classroom while on the premises. Children under the age of 5 must have a parent or designated guardian stay on premise in case your child has to use the bathroom during class.
No. Payment for the program is not prorated if a student misses a class or decides to withdraw from the class after committing to a session. In order to keep costs low, All Tuition is non refundable.
In case of inclement weather, I will evaluate on a case-by-case basis and announce updates and closures via email/social media. Of course, if at any point you feel uncertain about making the trip to class, please use your best judgment. Your safety is our top priority. If class is cancelled but the weather permits, classes will be held on zoom.
If I become ill and am unable to teach class in person but able to teach on zoom, class will be held on zoom. If zoom is not an option, I will try and provide a substitue. In the event that classes are cancelled due to my illness, I will offer a make up class.
