This class is designed to develop awareness of alignment and basic ballet technique and vocabulary. This class will include ballet barre and simple floor exercises. Students will also learn about the history of ballet and learn basic variations from notable ballets.
This class is designed to provide a regimen of exercises for the development of a dancers physical endurance, strength, flexibility, and coordination. Including a variety of exercises and techniques, students will do floor and center work while focusing on isolated body parts in order to advance range of motion and assist in avoiding injuries
This class is designed for someone who wants to try dance for the first time or a dancer that wants to brush up on the basics. Warm up and lessons will incorporate different styles of dance (ballet, jazz, modern, and contemporary). Contemporary combinations will be taught to give an opportunity for self expression and putting your skills together. Students will be exposed to a variety of movement qualities, musical rhythms and emotional interpretations.
